Touareg Emissions Fix

So I have scheduled my 2012 Touareg in for the emissions fix at Oakville VW, the car has 112k and would like to keep it.

Just wondering if its the right decision ?

I'm in the same boat, though with an 09. I have a US VIN so I'm working through the US system. Did they offer you a buy back, or just a fix?

They offered me just the fix.

I may get a choice and I'm not sure what I'll do. But my local dealer offered to sell me a 'new' 2016 Treg for about $60k. They've had it since the stop sale. Only $60k for a 3 year old vehicle that's been sitting parked.

I hope everyone turns them in so the used market gets flooded and drives down the price Then I can buy one!

As far as I know, there is only a buy back on the 1st gen. I can see them scrapping those they do get.

Would be nice to get a new one all fixed with a good warranty.
