P047F, exhaust flap under warranty?

Does anyone know if Audi will cover the A3's exhaust flap under the same TSB issued by VW for their TDIs? I had the flap replaced on the Golf TDI last year, now the A3 is showing the code, at 95k miles. Local service department has no clue, wants $500 to replace the flap.

I know the egr valve is lifetime warranty now, but not sure about the exhaust flap.

Get in contact with Audi of America. It should be covered. Here in Canada it is NOW covered. When it happened to my 2010 A3 we had 80,400 km. Warranty ended at 80,000. At first The dealership wouldn't budge but then decided to do a 50-50 split which still cost us 463.00. About 2 months later we received notice from Audi Canada we would be reimbursed what we spent and the warranty on that flap valve was now increased to 10yrs and 193,000km. Get in touch with customer service corporate as it should be covered where you are.

Thanks, I went to another dealer who covered the replacement under warranty. It's now for 10 years/120k miles.

Just got this CEL code today. Good to hear that it's covered under an extended warranty. 2012 a3 tdi with just under 40k on odo.
