hi i am Alex from lithuania,
i have seat cordoba coupe with tdi agr engine, now it is modified and have 209 hp 380nm and it has stock internals. now mods: gt2359v from mercedes pp764 nozzles from t4, 12mm pump head, dbilas 260 cam, fmic, all 63.5mm exhaust, passat pd130 intake manifold, 3 bar map

Now i want to ask can i use t5 2.5tdi pd 128kw pistons (81mm) with asz rods (pd130) in bore to 2.0? piston fit o rod or no?

No, because that engine has 4 valves per cilinder..

I think you'd better go for .260 nozzles PP764 are too small for that turbo..

i know that nozzles is small but i want did better bottom end because i fink now it can broke...

As I said, the pistons do not fit because the engine they come from has 4 valves per cilinder and you have only 2..

but i saw this engine and the pistons have 2 valves....
how about caddy 2.0 sdi pd i know that this one fit but how about piston isnt it poor?

then you saw another engine.. maybe the 2.5 from a T4.. the T5 one is an aluminium block, with 4 valves per cilinder and PD injection

I think you need pistons from a T4 or 2.0 PD 8 valve (BMM BGW, ..)

that engine i looking have aluminium block and have 2 valves per cilinder, i looking in catalog and everywere is writen that engine has 2 valve per cilinder like the toureg r5 tdi 174hp engine, the same as in multivan... now i dont understand nothing :)
about 2.0 pd 8v i was asking but in shop they said that cant to deliver...
2.0 sdi pd is not same as tdi?

If it has 2 valves you can use it..

I always tought the aluminum engine had the 4 valve head based on the 16v 2.0 PD..

Never seen such 2.0 sdi... probaly it will have a high CR to start with

no I never seen the 2.5 5 cilinder with 4 valves per cilinder...
2.0 sdi pd is based on caddy mk3 about cr i dont know but my friend and chiptuner has this pistons on his tdi and said that pistons dont have diference now his car has 205hp 430nm with dss .250 nozzles and standart vnt20. now he fit vnt2059 hybrid turbo and I waiting for result...

r5 tdi pistons can fit on asz rods?

i want too ask how much boost i can have with gt2359v? now i have 2.0 bar... and only 209hp 380nm with pp764 now i want to change nozzles to race 520 or dss ultime interesting how many power when i can have? :)

2bar should be ok or even 1.8bar but if you are not using R520 already you should see another 20 or 30hp gain.

on dyno boost is about 1.8bar in 4-5k rpm... but on street i see and 2.0 bar...
but still if the r520 gain me 30 hp thats very good :) in fact i plan bore to 2.0 and asz rods to have better bottom end :)

If he uses the r520's he should have over 200whp possibly up to 210whp with some other larger babies;) :D

I have another question. a strange boost i have 0.5bar at 1700rpm and dont have more till 2300-2400 rpm then spooll up to 1.7 1.8 and my interesting why turbo dont spool faster? i have all the time from 1700rpm to 2300 0.5 bar...

Its a quite big turbo, but you !!could!! try to shorten the VNT actuator rod a little (start with half turn)....

Although it could depend on mapping.

BTW:

When people start up, posting boost, so it would be very helpfull to add the revs.
With a GT1749VB i can also make 2 bar, but surtainly not up to 4000rpm....

the vnt rod is shortened to the end :) i think maybe it could n75 valve fault? maybe it dont working good... I have 2 bar from 4-5k rpm but sometimes 1,8 bar... at 2,5k rpm have 1,7 bar... the engine can rev to 5,7rpm with 12mm pump head but it dont need to rev so lot, i reving to 4,8-5k....

i dont know but boost came to 0,5bar and no more... till 2300-2400rpm and then come down to 0,4bar and then spool to 1,7 bar at 2500-2700rpm range...

If it fluctuates like that for no reason it might be surge, have you measured emp? I can also be in the mapping offcourse..

no. now i want to make emp gauge then i see that is emp... so it can be to big or too many? i dont understand :)

Both, you have too see it's not too much, but if it's too litlle (which I doubt) it could spool faste,r but if pressure fluctuates like you describe I'd think it could be surge, but it's strange, 0.5 bar at 1700 shoulnd't be something that can't be done.. even with a 59mm wheel..

then i install turbo the boost didnt came before 3k rpm... then I adjust the actuator rod it spool faster but has this issue... that meens surge i dont know good? :confused:

If you have NO CHANGE when shortening VTG rod to maximum then there is a other issue in your system.

the only issue I can think of is surge or incorrest stopscrew adjustment, or it must be way underfueled..

i dont know but my chip tuner dont understand this too :) he says maybe it because n75 valve or the variable turbo geometry... but in real the this turbo should spooll on this engine? with that fueling...

Do you have VAGCOM / VCDS?

If you make some loggs with block 11 and WOT from 1500-4000rpm you will see what turbo control does...
