Help!!

Hi. I am new member, but i have been reading this great forum for half a year.

I own a Audi A6 2.5 TDI (115 HP.
On Friday i had my car i for a shine up at a local polishing garage. When i came to pick it up Friday afternoon, they told me " your car dont run"
And they where right...
It started and i sounded like like it was going to fall apart, and then it stalled.
The engine was really noizy and shaking.
Anybody got a clue??
I did not have any time to investigate further at the time , but the car is now at a
local Audi shop. They are going to look at it tomorrow (Tuesday 2/5).

Sounds like a fuse blown or loose wire somewhere.

I wonder if they cleaned the engine compartment and blasted an electrical part.

Ask them if they used Rignes Beer as a cleaning solvent.

it's terrible stuff, and i almost didn't run either after "sampling" some in Bergen years ago.

I "cleaned" the engine compartment of my Corolla and the radiator fan always runs now when the ignition is turned on. A little moisture in the wrong place goes a long way.

Maybe they added some gasoline in your tank?
Or maybe some water got into your tank?

I phoned the Audi dealer today, but they had'nt even started on my car......

In the mean time i have been reading the troubleshooting section in the "TDI FAQ"
I wish i had my car here now so i could check out the things described in chapter b.
(air, water in fuel & cut-of valve)
