hey everybody
I need some advice so i can get to bed after typing this and wake up hopefully to a answer or 2 so i can continue my breakdown tomorrow morning.

i have the entire vacuum system apart, egr valve, upper egr tube, NOW I AM taking apart the EGR cooler itself and when i removed the upper hose coolant immediately started coming out and didn't stop for a good 10 seconds so i put the hose back on as IDK how long this will bleed for....... what should i do i need to get the cooler off, I know the egr recirculates gas and runs it through the cooler section "hense cooled by coolant" but how do i go about removing the rest of the cooler and not bleed coolant everywhere? WHAT DOES 1 DO when trying to clean manifold /turbo?

FIRST OFF IS THIS normal . SECOND i've read about the egrs leaking coolant causing potential engine failure or burning it off in the exhaust system can somebody please help and clarify THANK YOU!!!!!

So your goal is to clean the manifold and turbo. It is possible to remove the manifold and turbo without needing to drain coolant. Simply unbolt the EGR cooler and move it out of the way. The hoses can stay connected.

If you really want the cooler out of the engine bay for cleaning (or are planning on a delete) then drain the coolant from one of the other two hoses on the cooler.
