Anybody sell high mileage emblems?
Like Volvo does, in increments of 100,000 miles?

I’d be interested if they do. My golf is starting to get close to the 600 mark

This would be a neat thing, I'd love to get one. Even a small sticker would be cool.

I recall seeing someone on here that has/had a 400k emblem that matched their TDI emblem. Think it was a mk4 tdi.

It would also be cool to have mileage specific TDI club license plate frames.
I'm in for two 200k mile, one 300k mile, one 400k mile, and one 500k mile if they ever were made.

On a 253,000 mile Volvo I had, I bought the 100,000 200,000 and 300,000 mile emblems and had adhesive decals printed up with 21, 22..., 29 so I could put them on the 300,000 mile emblem every 10,000 miles and take them off at 300,000 miles.

I've always resisted placing stickers on my car, but in this case, I may make an exception. I would prefer a replacement for the rear of the car where the TDI "thing" is already located.
I am also in favor of a replacement for the front VW emblem with the VW inside a circular typeset that indicates the mileage, and type of TDI series.
Just wishful thinking, but having a emblem that will last as long as the car instead of a sticker that will look like crap a year or so later is not paying enough respect in my book.

Those Volvo badges are cool, but I liked the older grille badges better. Mercedes also had/has the high mileage grille badges.

Volkswagen did too, but it was more common in Europe.

Those badges are awesome! I've heard that VW gave away replacement engines to owners who reached 100k km at one point early on.

Got a 3D printer? Make your own! If not, can draw it up and get from Shapeways...

You can buy these on Ebay & stick them on, about 1-2 bucks each.

Fuel Economy: pretty freakin' good.

Wait a minute - free replacement engine if you get to 62k miles? Seriously? I wonder what that says about the expectation of longevity.
Cheers,
PH
