Coolant lines maybe not hooked back up correctly but what I'm wondering is why you didn't take to VW for the repair. It "should" have been covered under our extended emissions warranty. (*What does "not emissions compromised" mean?)

MPG might just be winter fuel drop off or weather but not sure how many miles logged since the replacement.

turbo was just replaced about 1000 miles ago, nearest vw dealer is 120 miles away...ugh.
vws settlement was buying it back or detuning the software, i declined.

i have put 50000 miles on this and have 50mpg hwy and 40 city, and after they worked on it mpg turn to caca...
"have been covered under our extended emissions warranty"

he should have told me this ... could have saved me $2000

thanx

Well it "would" have but for you, it wouldn't have because you didn't have the car fixed. We got an AWESOME extended warranty on our "fixed" cars from turbo to tailpipe, it's the only reason I'm not tuned, deleted etc... on either of my MK6 or MK7 TDI.

Wish I could lend a hand or give more ideas on the issues but I'd say get back to the shop that replaced your turbo and have them fully check over their work. No heat in the cabin is no good, something def isn't put back right.

Good luck

I feel bad for the folks who passed up that sweet, sweet VW settlement money. I wonder what that slice of owners looks like percentage wise. 5%?
