My radiator began leaking a while ago and I finally decided to change it out. I ordered a radiator online and got the car mostly apart and then I noticed that the radiator I ordered has two extra ports in it probably for auto trans fluid cooling that I do not need.

What part # radiator should I be ordering for my manual tranny Passat?

Too many.
It appears BHW + AWM (1.8T) both use the same version for auto: 8D0121251BC (630x398mm). Assuming the manual 1.8T fits the same, you could use 8D0121251P. Although if the extra ports are just for the trans, you can just leave the plugs in and ignore them. W8 & V6 are different again.

My 05 passat has the 5 speed conversion.

I used the stock radiator.

If it ever goes out ill use a stock remember 05 passat radiator. Just leave the tranny ports open.

Use the auto radiator and just plug the holes if it bothers you.

How dare you deny a place for mud dobbers to live

:) This will be the last radiator that this car will ever see anyways.

I was too lazy to remove the transmission lines from the radiator. They now act as some sort of a barrier. :)

Thank you everyone. That makes sense.
