It's that time of the year again - T6 is on sale.

Time to stock up!

I run it in both of my cars, my bike and my girlfriends bike. Great oil for all TDI's! (except 09+)

(no, I don't work for Shell....) :p

None currently. MK4/5/6 Jetta's in the past.
Dammit, I just bought some from Walmart.

What's the price at CDN Tire?
Walmart's normal price is $34.97, which is way less than CDN Tire's normal price.

cdn tire's regular price is 37.99 at my local store. For what ever reason, it's 39.99 everywhere else.

Sale price is 29.99

Looks like PS Diesel Kleen is also on sale @CanadianTire!

BTW, Walmart will price match this sale item since it's on the Canadian Tire flyer.

I'm assuming if you use it in a BEW it's ok for the BRM?

sure, but it doesn't take away from the fact that all the PD engines, in particular the BRM's have a flaw in the camshaft design. No oil will save you from that eventually failing.

If I had a BRM, I would run T6.

Is this the same stuff that $20 a gallon at Wally World in the USA? If so I may get some when I go to the US.

I was just in Buffalo... the jugs there are a little smaller, usually 3.78L, not quite enough for a fill... smaller in quantity so the price might be slightly lower... even though it's still significantly cheaper. I was shocked how much less this and TDT are.

ended up buying only 1 jug... i was hoping that the non-synthetic Rotella would be on sale too (for the MB), but they didn't have any stock...

Good timing for the special, I was (slightly over)due for an oil change. :D

Bought 2 jugs yesterday, used one this morning. The container isn't as practical as the LubroMoly jugs I usually bought though, those have an extensible "funnel" molded in. But it's faster to pour in due to the wider opening.

Safest bet, yes. It's unknown how T5 0w40 would do in a PD.
Thanks Bob, making a trip to the Buffalo this week will pick up a Jug of T6 for my 2004 PD Jetta from Walmart I guess. Usually I use Fuchs Titan.

T6 should still be on sale - just gotta find a Cdn Tire up here that has it. When it's on sale, it is the same price or cheap than the USA. They also only get 4l jugs, not the 5l we get.
