Where to buy a vcds scanner tool?

Hey everyone,
Anyone know where I can buy a current vcds scanner for my golf diesel.
Engine light on and need a scanner. If you have and bought a reliable scanner let me know where I can buy one.
I unplugged the sensor at the air filter hose after replacing air filter and then drove off without plugging it in. This may be the cause.
