TDI to yota v6 auto trans crossmember mount?

Ok I know a couple people have mentioned running the v6 auto transmission mount. My question is did you have to have a custom drive shaft made up or were you able to use the drive shaft from the v6 auto trans to get the length you needed for the extra 2.5-3"?

on my tacoma i just used 1/4" steel plate that located the mount forward and had the driveshaft lengthened by 2.25"

That's the way I'm looking at going just wasn't sure if I'd get away with using the auto drive shaft or if I had to have one custom made like you did?

Yea go with the auto crossmember+ driveshaft . Thats what I have with my w56. Much more room behind the head. I have a 2.5" downpipe running behind the head as well.

That's awesome! Ty did you use the front driveshaft also?

Auto trans crossmember with stock front and rear drivehafts working fine here.

Toyotatdi how did that work? Your getting an extra 2-3" forward from it?
