I have this issue on my car (A3 1997 1.9TDI AGR) where my instrument cluster has some sort of delay. Tachometer is slow to respond but shows RPM correctly sometimes it gets stuck and then moves to correct RPM also Speedometer is slow when braking. When I stop the car going 20km/h it takes 2 seconds after stopping for speed to fall back to 0. At first I thought it was instrument cluster issue so I replaced it with different one but issue is still there. Vagcom shows rpm and speed correctly without delays. How can I fix this? Is there cluster ground point somewhere in the car?
