Doesn't get over the fact that the nozzles appear physically different, but I'm still curious
iirc pin from afb nozzle is a little taller then the pin from ake nozzle and yes the r683 was made for afb nozzles ...but if you want to put the r683 on ake injectors would work just like it is however opening pressure would be 180 bars .So to make a higher opening pressure all you have to do is to put a small coin like thing somewhere inside the injector ...pretty sure all injector guys from your country should have this kind of coins...ofcourse in my country none had the right one for these injectors (which should be ~ 0.5 mm thick or so) so i had ask someone to machine them which was pretty hard because of the thiness of the piece and because i needed a very good steel alloy that will not bend easly and i decided to make them from an mk4 water pump which had a good alloy =)Apparently there are two variants. Some are DSLA142P683, which the Bosio nozzles work with, and others (possibly later - mine is a 2002) which have DSLA142P1025. I think it was TDIFreak who told me that the 683s won't work (properly) on injectors that came with the 1025s, which would make sense given the different nozzle. I would guess there is a difference in the calibration of the pump to accommodate the different nozzles too.
you can order these at dieselkontor..iirc pin from afb nozzle is a little taller then the pin from ake nozzle and yes the r683 was made for afb nozzles ...but if you want to put the r683 on ake injectors would work just like it is however opening pressure would be 180 bars .So to make a higher opening pressure all you have to do is to put a small coin like thing somewhere inside the injector ...pretty sure all injector guys from your country should have this kind of coins...ofcourse in my country none had the right one for these injectors (which should be ~ 0.5 mm thick or so) so i had ask someone to machine them which was pretty hard because of the thiness of the piece and because i needed a very good steel alloy that will not bend easly and i decided to make them from an mk4 water pump which had a good alloy =)
Anyway at the end i end up with 280bars opening pressure and the car works fine .
I can offer nozzles for 2.5 V6 engines. If you are running something bigger than the original turbo you need fuel.NOBODY can tweak VP44.So the right way to go is nozzles.I can offer two different. The first one is 8x180 -66% more fuel but when you remove the pressure drop from the pump it's really 50-55% which is good for 300-320hp.For the very power hungry i can offer 8x190 which is 88% more fuel.-really 70%.This is with the same spray angle. They are custom made.8 holes mean better atomozation and more power.
Yes with most of the 1.9tdi rotary pumps .VP44 canWith most stock pumps 300hp and over is dreaming. No nozzle can change that.
What are the US Cummins guys doing? Some are running 700+ hp on modified VP44 pumps.I can offer nozzles for 2.5 V6 engines. If you are running something bigger than the original turbo you need fuel.NOBODY can tweak VP44.
Yes they are running 1000+hp but this is with BIG nozzles and monster pump not only pump. What are the US Cummins guys doing? Some are running 700+ hp on modified VP44 pumps.
I sent you a private message.Yes they are running 1000+hp but this is with BIG nozzles and monster pump not only pump.
75E a piece for the 66% more 8x180.The nozzle is plug and play on AKE,BAU..i asked for pricing, never got it!
You got PM.75E a piece for the 66% more 8x180.The nozzle is plug and play on AKE,BAU..
Here are the photos from autocad to see the design. The nozzles are good for cummins 24v CR engine too. They are 36% more than the original nozzle.

Do you have any fueling issues on a drag race ? I have race 683 nozzles fitted to stock AKE injectors and the engine shuts down if i step on it on a drag race !75E a piece for the 66% more 8x180.The nozzle is plug and play on AKE,BAU..

I take it that the lift pump you have is not the OEM one fitted to the car as standard but a modified one ? Clutch looks nice, bet that grabs well !
Yes but we don't manage to find why we can't remap it with more rpm.Everything seems fine but the car limiter is on 4800rpm.It's not our furst 2,5tdi remap but with this we got stuckedneeds more rpm!
