What you guys want to see, will most likely be the enginemods so far.
Here you can see the car still in it's old shape, as FMIC was my first enginemod, wich I beginning of this year.

So I finally got around FMICing my 1.6HDi
I simply purchased a secondhand Forge Kit for the petrol models.
And it was a pretty straight fit, apart from the silicone hoses wich have to go on the stock plastic tubing, wich are a bit large...
Still used these ones and nothing is leaking.
How to's can be found on the web, so I'll keep it short.

First of all, the bumper has to go.

Also, it's best to remove the headlights and on top of the solid plastic part above the airconrad, there are 2 screws that need to be removed and afterwards this assembly can be lifted up end tilted to the front.

These are the 2 stock plastic pipes about 48mm diameter.

Got the bugger out, finally, after a lot of tinkering.

Overall view.

Stock bellows are very oily :? , could do with an oil catch tank I suppose... :?

The whole kit

Strut bar and rad in place.

The silicones attached to the stock piping.

Routing of the pipes.

Routing of the pipes.

Future plans are;
-Install a BMC induction kit
-Install an oil catch tank
-Full custom made turbo back exhaust sytem

Grtz

I've been busy with my induction kit again.
Still need to install the catch tank, as I need to remove the battery for that...
And also need to lengthen the MAF connector, as it's disconnected at the moment :-D
Breather is run down underneath the engine for now, with an old sock as a filter  :D

Thanks guys :p
The BMC CDA is just a great induction filter, I would recomand it to anyone ;)
And it gave my little car a little bit of a sportier sound as well, though I get some turbo flutter as well from time to time.
I'll try and post a video soon :D
As for the specs;
Stock; 90BHP 215Nm
Stage 1; 115BHP and 270Nm
Stage 2(currently); 130BHP and 310Nm
Aiming for a steady 170BHP and +400Nm and 200BHP with 450Nm in the end.
I am still in the progress of sourcing some parts required.
What still needs to be done?
--> 3bar BMW 335d Mapsensor/ 2000Bar BMW335d Railsensor/ Common rail pump from a 2.7TDI/ GT1752V turbo from a BMW 120d with mechanical actuator in stead of the REA/ ship my injectors of to Bosch diesel centre to get them overhauled with BMW 335d nozzles

2011

So after a very long time, the car is finally ready...

-The airride is finally up and running.
(can still drop it about 1.5cm in the front and it's on the (cut-down) bumpstops in the rear)
driving around on 65-75PSI front and 35-45PSI rear
-The bootbuild is practicly finished (no pics yet ;))
-The wheels have been rebuilt and given a full polish with golden bolts
-The rear arches have been widened
-Custom colorcoded roofbox
-Decat pipe heatwrapped and installed (sounds nice, for a diesel)

Not too much words... plenty of photo's ;D

Last weekend, my mates and I went for a drive.
We were going to the next city, so we could go and see a movie.
On the way over there, I noticed some pressure drops in the front right airbag.
Nothing major I assumed, as it was the first time there were four people in my car, since the air ride had been installed and I knew one of my gauges is leaking a bit.
So I just added pressure from time to time.
As soon as I entered the city centre, the deflation happened faster then it was at first.
Till a point where I would inflate and half a minute later it was on the ground again.
I pulled over for a closer look and found out, there was a very small hole in the airline, where it had rubbed against the inner side of my wheel.
Luckily I always have some kit in my car and after maxing out the other airbags, I managed to shorten the airline, by rotating the airbag around and we could continue our journey.
I hoped I could make it to work on monday and tuesday...

On monday I phoned an air ride specialist and asked him if he could make me some steel braided airlines for the fronts.
After getting some measurements and sizes, he told me they would be ready on wednesday. So wednesdaymorning I phoned the guy to ask if they were ready...
He had to order some new parts for the airlines, so they would be ready later in the day.
I started my day with disassembling the front of the car.
Took the wheels of, took the struts out, dismantled the struts and cleaned everything up again.
I phoned back later that day, only to find out that the lines weren't ready yet.
But he told me I could go and pick them up later... say till about 12 at night he said :D
So at 10.30PM I was at his shop and received the airlines, took me one hour to get back home and continued on the car.
Had to pull an all nighter to get her ready for the show on thursday, but I am quite happy with the result

Here's some photo's... enjoy.

Struts removed...

And finally back in

+1.5cm drop in the front... I like

If I want to get it even lower now, I'll have to take the route of custom uniball top mounts

Its been quite a while sinc I posted something in this thread...
So here goes :D

Not that it has any real value as I dont have a back to back baseline...
But I heard from a lot if people it actually does a pretty decent job.
So here's a "dynorun" from perfexpert :D

Not bad if you ask me and the results are pretty much what I estimated them to be :D
At the moment boost PID control is still turned off, so boost aint as high as it normally is ;)ow its been ages since I kept this topic up to date :D
as I didnt know where to post this, I decided this would be a good spot, as there were quite some comments in this one :D[/quote]
