Silver, 141K miles, 5-speed manual, GLS with sunroof and upgraded black cloth seats, very good condition. I consistently average 45 mpg since I bought this car over 2 years ago. I have done 50 mpg at the tank when I'm really well-behaived.
I love it but decided to upgrade to a new Passat TDI, which will be better for my new job. I have been a diesel lover since my first car, a 1979 Mercedes Benz 240D, which I still own to this day.
I have all of the maintenance records for this wagon since it was bought certified pre-owned by the last owner in 2008 for $15,995.00 with 88K miles (I have that receipt, too). I bought it with 115K miles in August 2011. I get the oil changed every 5,000 miles, always synthetic and always specialized VW mechanics. This car has never been in an accident or any damaging event whatsoever and is kept in a garage.
Of note:
-New break calipers and Continental All-Season Tires
-New turbo (Spring 2011) - $1800!
-Timing belt dine by Danbury VW with 89K (May 2008)
-New glow plugs, bus bar and updated ECM, Factory recall done by HV VW (Spring 2011)
-New alternator (Winter 2011)
-Breaks have 7 mm left (recommend changing at 2-3 mm)
-Pioneer CD deck with iPod cable, XM and bluetooth capability.
The car is in very good condition with some usual wear, a couple of small markings on the headliner and a few small blemishes on the exterior paint. The cruise control does not work, needs a new stem. Everything else is in great working condition- clutch, AC, etc…
Asking $9,500.
