I have a CR with 6 speed manual in my MK5 Jetta. Having shifting issues, did the cable adjustment per Myturbodiesel. If I shift slow no problem, but any quick shifts 1-2 or 3-4 it will not engage 2 or 4. I'm using Amsoil trans fluid someone suggested syncomesh fluid. Oh and it has a Wavetrac diff. Any ideas?
Thanks

You figure this out? Does it have a short shifter? The Audi TT short shifter in both my MK4 and MK7 changes the geometry a bit so you can't lock the shift tower and gear lever to get the proper alignment...you have to adjust manually. Did you swap gearbox from CR or use MK5 02M? In my 02Q, running thicker fluid was not ideal. Switching to OE fluid made things buttery again.

I'd inspect the linkage under the battery. The white plastic slider piece popped off on my 6 speed and made for some notchy shifting. I just replaced it with a dieselgeek sigma 6 kit. Huge improvement over stock.
