No. My wife took her car to our nearest VW dealer (not the one we bought it at, but owned by the same company ). They provided her a loaner (a Passat I believe) for the afternoon, and our Golf was like the 4th one they had done (this was in the first week or 2 the fix was available). I was at work 25-30 miles away, closer to the dealer we bought it at.

Thanks for the info

BTW

Are you happy with the fix?

MPG up? ~~ MPG Down?

Any other issues?

MPG changes in the noise at best. when I drive it (especially in city) (we have a DSG) - I prefer driving it in "S" mode over "D" ( S is pretty close to what I drive a manual transmission ). Generally happy with the fix. It is using more DEF ( before the fix, we had NEVER seen the "need to refill DEF" alert).

Sorry I am a hard head. Are you saying the MPG were/are better? Worse?

Just guessing, from all the other postings, might be a little more debacles :(

When I'm saying MPG changes are in the noise - it means it hasn't changed significantly.
