I have a vag reader scanner

I was wondering if there is an adaptation or measuring block that has the boost pressure reading I can login to.

I found that in engine 1 measuring block 10 and 11; I can see the temperature and MAF info but no boost pressure info.

Is there some where else I can read the boost pressure ?

Should be in Group 10:

What sort of "vag reader scanner" do you have? Vag-Com (VCDS)? Fully functioning version? Something else?

I find it completely impossible to follow what problems you're having and what you've done/haven't done due to your complete lack of info given and numerous duplicate threads. From what I can gather, you're still having a Boost Deviation Negative code, correct?

yes but now I am also getting p0101 maf code

I am now trying to figure out why?

I did notice one initial boost spike when I first drive and then it goes immediately to limp mode. I am trying to log the boost now. I have a vag 5053 handheld vagcom reader

That is NOT vag-com and it is not good for much. I don't have a clue how it works and the generic P-codes it generates are not very useful.

The real thing would be much more useful in figuring out your problems.

yes and yes

maybe the rosstech was not a real one

The vag 5053 reader does login to channel 1 engine and measuring block 10
I can see the rpm and some maf readings but no boost reading.

well, if you didn't buy it from ross-tech, it wasn't a real ross-tech cable.. they are not cheap..

group 11 is boost on an ALH... block 1 is rpm, block 2 is requested boost, block 3 is actual boost, block 4 is N75 duty cycle..

MAF is group 3.. Block 1 is rpm, Block 2 is requested MAF, block 3 is actual MAF, and block 4 is EGR duty cycle
