Well I’m keeping the miles down on the passat. Only transportation: daily bike rides for Physical education class.

I'm in my first week of self isolation, not allowed outside. The OEM battery died over a year ago and I put a physically larger and higher specs AGM battery into the Passat.
Temps are from above freezing to about 40deg. It'll be interesting if I have any trouble starting the car 10 days from now?

The recycling center is closed until further notice. I can’t even use that as an excuse to fire the Passat up.

Working from home except one day a week. Fueling frequency has gone from once a week to once every five weeks! Tolls dropped from $25/week to $5/ week. One of the few good things to come from this pandemic.

We’re also going fishing and chopping wood for our fire pit. My young son says that also counts for PE. The fishing trips are really racking up the miles.

I honestly couldn't tell you why my Governor does what he does. He closed public lands, so there's no "at least that."
