Timing question B4 1997 Passat 1Z

Completed the second timing belt and checked at a friends Vagcom, and it shows the timing is just above the green ( Top line) on the graph. Was a little cold, so didn't make any changes.

On the old AAZ I had they often suggested better performance running it a bit more advanced.

Should the timing of the injection pump be changed?
What is the recommended adjustment now for good economy? ( center line or nearer to the green line at the top)

Seems to run great where it is now.

I'd leave it where it is, but if you absolutely need to have it just-under the green, the IP needs to be rotated toward the radiator. And not very far.

I wouldn't bother with it since it's not that far out and I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference.
