thread suggests that the rear turn signals are done with yellow-bulbed clear lenses in the outer housings. But since that car was preproduction and quite possibly from the China production line (note the TDI emblem being at the top of the trunk), that may not mean much.
On the dealer demos, are the turn signals as described above, or different?
Incidentally, the in-use, tagged Passats I saw months ago in the employee lot at the factory, which were likely the press fleet from the press events that were completed a few days earlier, mostly had the TDI (or whatever)emblems at the top of the trunk, too, which really doesn't look good in person. Some of them already had the emblems in the lower location(which I think looks much better), which seems to be the final design for the US.
