Replacing Clutch on above Vehicle

Hi There Does any know how take the Transmission Housing Cover to replace the Clutch plate etc.

I have undone all the bolts around the cover , put it seems to holding on !, please see photos. :)

No photos... But I do know that you need to drop the transmission in order to get to the clutch.

There's more to it than this video indicates, but it will give a general idea of what needs to be done (axles also need to be removed from the transmission):

How many miles should I expect to get out of the factory clutch? I know it depends on many factors, i'm lookin for a ball park.

110k mi on the GSW, 204k mi on the MKIV and still the OEM clutches with no quirks.

I'm at 204,000 miles, AFAIK its the first clutch, Ive had it for about the last 100k, my last wagon was still good at 130k.. I do tow a trailer occasionally as well. In my experience if you don't abuse it, its sized appropriately and will likely last well over 200,000.
