Replaced regulater clips. Two Small Problems?

Hi,
i replaced my window clips today but have two small problems.
Whats the best way to remove the tape residue from my window and rubber(i had it taped closed for one week).
Also, im having a problem with the door handle. When i unlock the car with my my key chain, the handle does not open first time. Second pull it opens fine. When it is unlocked it also works fine. Just that first time after locking.

Simple Green is great on tape residue. If that doesn't work, try WD-40 works a bit better, but then you have a bit of a mess. Goo gone works too, but is much harsher me thinks.

White spirit will clean off the glue and leave the glass sparkleing afterwards. It sounds like something might be catching or seizing up on the handle. Remove the door card again and make sure nothing is touching the mechanism inside the door. I just had to sort out all four handles on a citreon AX that were sticking due to corrosion on the inside causing them to get stuck in the open position. Just be carefull removing the door card, dont want to break any clips.
