Default FS - Freshly Rebuilt 1722 Turbo, 1 year warranty, 15,000 Miles on it

EDIT - 05.03.11 This one is SOLD but I know of a couple more of these rebuilt 1722 coming up for sale. So if you are interested in one, don't hesitate to post your interest below.

FS - ALH Freshly Rebuilt 1722 Turbo, 15,000 Miles on it at the time of rebuilt. 1 year limited warranty (see Below) After rebuilt turbo will have 0 miles on it and will be unused. $1K shipped.

Turbo currently being rebuilt by Comp Turbo in SoCal . Turbo will come with 1 year limited warranty (see Below) directly from Comp Turbo

This turbo had some scored bearing and was making a screech at idle. It is being rebuilt to like new condition.

Rebuilt turbo will be unused and come in unopened box directly from rebuilder. Depending on when it's sold, turbo may be shipped directly from rebuilder. It will be worked on in the next couple days and will be available for shipping next week.

EDIT: Just spoke to Joe owner at Comp turbo and he confirmed that he will honor warranty for the buyer of this turbo.

The turbo is complete and comes with everything in the photo below, The manifold, actuator, cartridge etc...

Currently, there is also a block off plate bolted onto the EGR port and also there is a 1/8" NPT tap in the manifold for an EGT Thermocouple and threaded in there is an adapter for this EP132 EGT Probe (1/8 NPT)

This is not a photo of the actual turbo but a stock photo

Garrett said the damage was scored bearings. They would not honor warranty on it because they said that was caused by contaminated oil .... (not pushed too hard at the track..) Contaminated oil is excluded from Garrett's warranty... so I had it rebuilt by Comp turbo

And I am sure you never change your oil so it must have been your fault. If they only knew how meticulous us TDI owners can be.
