I searched and found bits and pieces of information here and there, and one guide specific to a Jetta. None were enough. What is the right way to flush the coolant in a B4? I mean drain it 100% (or as close to 100% as possible)?

I saw this in the Bentley Manual, and I'm seriously hoping there's another, easier way to get it all out:

If you find a way, let me know. I find that those clips are a birch (substitute different consonant) to get off and then reclip in place.

We slip the bottom hose loose from the radiator and get out what we can. We aid this by slipping the return hose off the coolant bottle and pressurizing the system with air.

We then put the hoses back in place. Fill the system with distilled water. Run the engine until the thermostat open.

Repeat as above until the drainage is clear.
