Don't really know... Don't want to make tranny upgrades nor internal engine upgrades. But it also means if I do... How much as far as costs am I looking at. Don't know how much the stock DSG and engine can handle

well to be honest I don't know either you would have to search forums to find out. And you need to know the engine code before I can tell anything logical upgrade for cr140 would be cr170 turbo but I still don't know what your engine is....

I'm looking for a direct pnp turbo upgrade for my 01 golf alh. Would I need the 17/49 Vc with transverse manifold? How does this turbo differ from a 17/49vb pd150 turbo? Thanks

My brother has an MK6 GOLF R with the k03 turbo. Ask your builder if he has any modded wheels for them? Were looking to get more power out of the factory turbo kit. Maybe a better exhaust wheel and a larger compressor wheel in a ported compressor cover? Anything along those lines.

Yes tfsi. He's right at 400 crank hp now and looking to go higher without a new turbo kit. Yea that's the turbo I'm pretty sure. See what your supplier has to say? Thanks

ok phoned my supplier and unfortunately he doesn't have one of these in stock so he would have to buy one just to say if there is anything he cand do with it, from the photos available online he rather sceptic that there is much he can do really, sorry

Piotr, is one to trust. I have received tracking and great communication for the last two months. I've spoken with at least 3-4 tdi members regarding purchases from Piotr and have heard nothing but the highest expectations! In other words bypass I'd parts and kerma tdi cause they cannot get hybrid turbos in the good old USA!!!!!!

Please mind that the CR140 engines comes with two types of heads this oen is for those with circular (not rectangular) shaped exhaust ports.

It will fit a CBEA or CJAA us spec CR140 from the Jetta/Golf with a different turbo inlet and other stuff, see my stage 3 thread in power enhancements

I am really curious about seeing about a bolt-on hybrid for the CR engine. If you can get a GTB1756VK (or bigger) welded onto the CR manifold, it would be on my list for sure!

it shouldn't be a problem to weld one onto CR manifold the question is how much space there is to accommodate bigger turbo? I haven't ever done it before for CR engine so not sure about that

You might want to fix that actuator situation on that one....
