Daimler Emissions Scandal

The OM651 is a 2.1L, that is what is in my Sprinter. And once again, I am glad I got it when I did. No buyback nonsense for me.

My E250 seems to fall into this as well. The car has no spare tire since that space is occupied by a large DEF tank. But it still is noncompliant? A lawsuit was filed last year in the US about this situation - but was thrown out. Will be watching this closely as this new situation develops.
