I have a significant amount of non-engine work that needs to be done on my Jetta wagon. Suspension, clutch, brakes, wheel bearing, etc.

I would prefer an interdependent shop or mechanic. They don't need to do TDI's, I will take those issue to a guru later.

The car is driveable, but would need to tow it if I had to travel more than 100 miles. I don't trust the wheel bearing any more.

Thanks
Dennis

You can check out the folks at Checkered Flag imports in Merrillville, Indiana. They've done suspension and brake work on my TDI and I've always been satisfied with their work.

If you are in the heart of the city, Marquette Frame will handle the suspension and brake items well. That is all they do. PM for details.

You could just fix the wheel bearing yourself and then drive it up to Jason or whomever. Easy to do the brakes while you're in there.
