Oil Feed Adapter Help

I am stuck on swapping installing a new turbo in my 98 Jetta TDI. The adapter that the oil feed line threads into does not work for the new turbo. The new turbo which claims to be a direct fit for that vehicle doesn't come with an adapter for it and Rotomaster claims it wasn't suppose to even though it's on pictures for the turbo. What I think is the issue is that the turbo that I'm replacing couldn't clock the correct way to be connected to the intercooler piping because it was a generic ebay turbo and whomever installed in put their own adapter in for that turbo and scrapped the O.E. one. I am at a loss trying to find out what the two threads are that adapter needs to be. The threads fit in two metric sizes that do not seem to exist as an adapter on in stores or on the internet. Does anyone have any clue how to find the correct part? I've tried rotomasters customer service and they never answer just says to leave a message and I haven't gotten an email response from them back either.

This picture of the turbo I bought clearly shows the adapter on it.

if you are trying to re-use the solid hard feed line, i would recommend against it. if original, it can be prone to plugging or cracking from vibration if the mount that holds it in place is missing. can also be kinked unintentionally if you remove it roughly.

i believe this is the adapter you want BUT CONFIRM THREAD SIZES. There are 2 direct fit turbos for the A3 (GT15 and K03) and they use different size threads where the union goes into the turbo.

he also carries the flexible feed line , but you can get it for less on ebay. ive used ebay ones on my last 3 TDIs without issues.

Disclaimer: i have no affiliation with "fixmyvw.com" , i have bought parts from them in the past, but IDparts, Kerma, or any other reputable source is equally good.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately it look like that fitting is the same one I have which would then be stock. The turbo I currently have doesn't fit it and their customer service wants nothing to do with me so I think I will return it and get another. You said the G15 and K03 turbos would work for a A3, so would these be what you are talking about?

The one for the k03 looks vastly different when it comes to the way it bolts to the manifold and oil fitting locations.

i would avoid knockoffs like those... the rotomaster one is made in canadqa if i recall, and of better quality than ebay chinesium. that particular K03 that you linked is also for the 1.8t and will not be suitable for your TDI

is the fitting you have too big or too small?

Garrett GT15 will use a M10x1.0 to M14x1.5 oil feed union source:http://turbochargerspecs.blogspot.com/2011/02/garrett-gt15-gt1544-both-150-hp-turbos.html

and i think the Borg Warner K03 will use a M12x1.5 to M14x1.5 oil feed union

if i were in your shoes, i would keep the rotomaster unit, figure out what union you need (presumably the one you dont have on hand...), buy a flexible feed line from ebay and install.

The union I have is too small and fine threaded for the turbo but fits on the oil line. I just pulled it all apart today and took the oil line off in preparation for the new line.

I just got the fitting in moments ago and it fits both perfectly. Also ordered a braided steel oil line for it too so that should be here shortly. I appreciate the help, i'm not sure I would of found that info out otherwise.

So this over a year old and a super long shot, but do you still have the M10x1mm adaptor???

That's what I need and I can't find it anywhere!

Go on summit and look for the fitting. I’m sure they have somthing that will work. When I did a stainless line on my car I got it all from summit and made my own line.
