I bought this bluetooth module - it is called USA 051 473 - and it is an original Anatel like all other 9w7 modules for VW. It even have high HW and SW numbers.
I tried to test it by putting the module into a car, which had a working original BT harness - voice was working and MFD all good with the original 9w7 module. After the fit, I loaded VCDS and coded the new module excactly like the old in the 77 telephone menu.
It can be paired with the phone, and is activated by phone button on my steering wheel, but nothing comes to MFD - only a small BT logo - no menu. I have a RNS 315 and there I can see the phone connected to the new BT module, and see the phonebook and I can even play BT music from the phone.
So my question is, could this module be without MFD function? Or should it be coded differently?
