That is hilarious, just a few weeks ago you said that my 98 and the 2000s mk4 share no similar parts.

No the hilarity is you have no idea what you are talking about. He asked about the 1Z engine in the B4 Passat (1996-97) and the AHU engine in the A3 Jetta (1997-early 99).

So no, no parts on a 2000 anything have anything to do with what question was asked on this thread. And no, they do not use the same compressor in case you were wondering.

It appears that you quoted a missing post?

Actually for Mk3 and B4 cars all 4 cylinders (ABA, AHU, 1Z) share same compressor.

As for the comment about parts on a '2000 anything' that's not entirely true, the compressor part number listed does apply to the Mk3.5 Cabrio 1999-2002. But it does not apply to the Mk4 cars, even those with the 2.0 4 cylinder, at least according to VW.
