We need to both requested and actual, along with RPMs.

You can e-mail the CSV file to me if you'd like.

Looks fairly normal for RC3. I had RC3 and put in a Dawes boost limiter to take out the spikes. Now I have RC4 and no spikes; of course I also have a VNT17/22 which runs 24 psi sustained so it probably spools differently than a VNT-15.

Is there a part of this log that's a 3rd or 4th gear pull that's WOT from 1800 to 4000 RPM?

Those are mostly at 2nd and 3rd gear runs, no 4th gear runs were done.

I did not log a WOT starting with a specific RPM or gear and end at a specific gear or rpm :/

I will do that tomorrow morning and email you in the eve after work.

OK, can we get just a 3rd gear run, start rolling onto the go-pedal at 1400 or 1500 RPM, WOT by 1800 or 2000, until 4,000 or 4500?

Where did you pick up your stage 3 hybrid clutch?

I need to order a SB stage 3 with 22lb smfw.

The shop that did the install sourced it directly from SBC, but I would recommend buying an SBC or DC clutch from one of the several TDI Club vendors.

Ah yes the best diagnostic which I credit to Drivbiwire: warm engine, logging Specified MAF, Actual MAF, Specified MAP, Actual MAP, and throttle position, 3rd gear stock, 4th gear modified, 100% throttle from 2000-5000 rpm, repeat 3-5 times.

The longer you can keep it at 100% throttle, the better the data will be. I know in my car I do not get full boost in 3rd gear, only 4th and 5th.

I don't have a VAG-COM, just a VAD. So, it's only the two MAP's, RPM and Time on one log.

Hm, 3rd gear with RC3 should pull right to the limiter of 5100 RPM.

Your CEL could indicate some oddness with the IP.

To me, the car does not feel like it used too.
Kind of a held back feeling.

Wonderful :(

Oh, thanks bob for making those graphs, I really appreciate it!!!

You're welcome.

Where in the US are you? Probably time to have a trusted mech / guru look over your TDI.

And I just ordered nozzles, ughhh.

You think VAG-Com IQ adaptations may be responsible for that?

Give KROUT a jingle.

No, I don't think VCDS IQ changes could throw that code.

My VW mechanic says that "It's a difference in fuel consumption in between cylinders" and need to do a compression test on them first.

Oh that does not sound good!

Who said that?

Does your car smoke at idle or smoke under low load?

I started he car, let it idle for a while, to get the vad setup and stuff, blipped the throttle, and more than usual smoke. light load, was some smoke, and just today this started.

Didn't notice any smoke today, only the slight haze on WOT.
It's not the pump, that gut feeling is usually right. Don't know why my mechanic wants to do a compression test on each cylinder, and also said that, that code can come from a sig injection variation btwn each injectors.

So, I have some ideas...
Can the dealer reflash my ECU to stock? Like to get rid of the aftermarket tune? Or, should I try and find another ECU somewhere cheap, have them mate it to my car, and run that for a while? Maybe after a break, I will get the mod bug again. But, I think I am about done!

Check out your idle balance, group 13. Fully warm engine, all accessories off.

You have a good tune, there's just some hardware issues going on (IP, turbo, vanes, nozzles: something is not right hardware-wise).

Edit: I am not saying a problem is with the tune.
I am saying is that, one week I would like to chill and relax, and maybe another week, go fast and have fun...
/Edit

I had no issues before the tune. My car just got back from a drive, and it smokes, from mild pedal to heavy, it smokes... Hazy, not black, thank God.

I will return the PP764's, which will only raise my EGT's and cause me to smoke A LOT on this stock turbo.

Even with PP520's I have to watch my EGT's. Need a boost and EGT gauge asap, clutch, but $$$.. Then suspension, exhaust, need to follow, as well and more $$$.

I need to check if air gets into the system. Do they sell them see threw hoses from filter to pump??? I would like to replace them and get new clamps. Also check the fuel filter for any chance ai gets in, since in the past, light colored haze would happen due to air getting in, but then it was more cloudy than haze...

It's starting to feel like a OLD car feeling, and it used to feel like a 40k miles car, that is the sad part.

Now all I want to do is sell it.
