Wondered what it was, as he ordered parts last night. Figured it can't be too bad.

Holy moley! I just saw this today. I deeply appreciate the wishes, luckily my injuries are nowhere near as significant as Sean's. He's the one who needs prayers.

I just tried to unsucessfully remove my left pinky and cut the digital nerve, had surgury to reattach it on saturday. Splinted/wrapped up for at least 3 weeks.

Speedy recovery Matt. Take your time and heal right, my spare transmission is working fine - no hurry on the 01E.

I'm glad you're okay! I imagined something horrid when I started reading the
posts...fingers/hand lost to some metal press, drill, grinder, mill.

Therapy will be a real bear if the tendons were severed. The first couple of days
are the worst.

The very best to you for a speedy and full recovery!

Hope this doesn't affect your Dr. Evil impression..."one MILLION dollars..."
As we're told all the time at work, don't put your fingers anywhere you wouldn't put your.... well, you know. Feel better!

Hey, Matt: Kirk B mentioned to me that you had an "accident" but I figured all was as well as it could be since you're moving ahead with my auto-to-02M swap. Seriously, if everything comes in within the next day or two, make sure you give das pinky plenty of time to recover before you plan on tearing into my '03 Jetta.

At least it wasn't your trigger finger.

Damn, Matt. Hope there isn't too much loss of mobility or use. Glad to know it wasn't more serious.
