Hello All,
First time poster here. I just purchased a 2015 VW Golf TDI SEL that was modded with the software fix. I am coming from a 2011 VW Golf TDI (Base). Totally awesome upgrade (and for only an extra $2,500 after the buyback!)
Anyway, the rear seat has some indentations in the leatherette from what appears to have been a child seat. I did some quick searching online and saw that heat/steam can help raise the foam and smooth out the leather.
I want to use my portable clothes steamer on it to puff it back out. Has anyone ever tried this (or something like this) on the TDI SEL leatherette? I am terrified of potentially making matters worse.
