New 2012 JSW owner has B20 and trailer questions

My wife and I just purchased a new 2012 JSW w/ DSG. We have owned several TDI's and diesels in the past (5 B4's, 1 A4, A1's, A2's, Mercedes 300TD, Jeep Liberty CRD and a Chevy C30 6.2 Van.

I was reading through the owners manual and was bummed to read that Biodiesel > B5 and any type of trailer towing was verboten. Is VW just CYA'ing themselves and being overly cautious or can real harm result from either? I also have been using PS additives in the Jeep. I'm assuming diesel fuel additives are forbidden as well?

Don't do it......I use additives but would definately stay away from any more than 5% Bio...
