For headaches I'm not going to explain I had my entire fuel tank replaced.
The past 20 tanks I've been getting between 11 and 12.5 gallon fills, one time 12.9, and mileage has been around 480-580, depending if it's heavy city or easy open roads.
Now after replacement, I can only manage 10 gallon before the back pressure trip, , sometimes 10.5 before I get spills trying to top it off.
And I'm only getting 420-450 miles of open driving!
I'm running the gauge where's its tipping the extreme empty mark as well, and still cannot get my traditional 11gallon easily fills...
Any ideas? Google is only showing one tank size 13.something.
All I can really do to verify if the float is bent is to run it out of fuel, but that's not a good practice with an injector pump....
Besides that, it's a smaller tank..
Edit
I haven't hooked up vcds since I've gotten it back. Without digging into the ecm could there be a reset or calibration?
