Hello,

I have a Skoda Octavia 2.0 1Z TDI 2005. Fitted with the BKD engine.

Im thinking about a chiptune where the motor will get approx 190 HK/430 NM

The gearbox is the 6 gear (I think the type is called DQ250).

Is this gearbox able to handle the increased torque without any problems ?
And is the engine ?
The engine have had a new turbo 30000 kms ago. and runs fine.

The only thing that annoys me, is that my old AWX 1,9 tdi, startet just by looking at the keys, and this 2.0 PD seem to run on the starter for about a second before it starts. It this normal ?

The torsion value in channel 4, measurement block 4 is 1 KW. As far as i understand, that has something to to with the timing. Would it helt my starting problems, to adkust this value to zero ?

Thanks in advance
Regards
Mikkel

I found the specs on the DQ250 DSG box. It says 400 Nm.

The chiptuning Im planning is 190Hk/425 Nm.

Bad idea ?

The sw limiters are at 410nm (305ftlbs), DSG clutches will usually chatter at 350ftlbs. Recently had one barking under 300ftlbs.
You need to raise the torque limiter in dsg sw for greater than 410nm.
USA boxes here.
