KCTDI pressure relief valve?

I have a '98 TDI that i want to add a KCTDI CCV system to to prevent intake fouling. My only concern is over pressurization if the filter gets pluged up. Has anyone come up with a pressure relief valve set up to use with this mod? I know the provent has one built in which is nice, but I wonder if it could be added to the KCTDI? I haven't done this with mine, but the thought occurs to me that one could drill a small hole into the the hose leading to the receptacle. Then place a wide rubber band on the hose, covering the hole. In my mind I think that it would work. FWIW
