  • Corrective actions from dealership: None
  • Outside air temps at failure: 65F
  • Failure warning signs, if any: Friend said it made a “white puff” when I drove away and then the turbo blew.
  • Warning lights on dash/MFI: None
  • Problems since replacement: TBD
  • Repair time: A few nights
  • Any dealer divulged info on other incidents involving other failures: TBD
  • Did the dealership perform all maintenance and on schedule: I did.
  • If not dealership, what oil was used/miles on oil: Valvoline Diesel 5w-30
  • Are you the original owner of the car: No, 2nd Owner.
  • Did you baby your car or not: Yes and No.
  • Do you interrupt DPF regenerations: It is deleted.
  • How long is your daily commute: I work remotely.

if its me, xman turbos in UK (quick shipper) he never disappoints me. he tend to beef them up with billet impeller that will do better than the rest out there.

Flashing glow plug light for about 200 miles

None except for Adblue issues after snapping injector on install.

Novice self took 23 hours

Around 8 hours total, split in to two days.

Liquimoly 4200 around 3000 miles on oil
