Default Engine Hot Start

i have a A3 TDI and for a long time im getting hard to start it but only when the engine is hot, then last week i unplugged the coolant sensor and then start imediatly.

My question is why if the ambient temp is about 20 C ??

Default Engine Hot Start

You need to unhook fuel pump shutoff valve and use vag-comm to measure engine rpm when cranking the starter. You need at least 325-375 rpm for proper warm startup. You either have a weak battery or a weak starter.
