Whats the best way to verify/ set my stop screw / rod length is good on a gtv1749v. Have read articles on here but they are mostly for the Bogg Warner turbos.
What has me thinking its not right is @ idle you can hear the exhaust note change and gets rough idle then a few seconds later it gets quieter and smooth again -- does this about every few seconds and keeps cycling. It does it cold or warm but does not do it every time...
When it does happen car seems to have a bit lag on boost.
Have check for good vacuum - all good
replaced n75 -no change
Rod moves when it should about 2-3 stops @ 18
boost logs look ok -- they are a bit off than requested but nothing major cam/lifters have been replace about 500 miles ago ( has same issue before replacement )
When I did the output the n75 was showing 1008.0 off - 1020.0 on no change in duty cycle showed 101.6%..
