I was on 1/4 Mile last weekend.
Audi coupe typ89 quattro with 2.5tdi 5cylinder,
13.07s and 173km/h(107mph)
I think the car has nearly 330hp
Gtb2260vk, 0.300 nozzles, 13mm pumphead
225 40 18 street tires

Took the golf out tonight. 13.980 @ 103.27mph

can easily run 2.4 bar. max torque will about 550Nm which is about max the HP pump can flow. Will be a pleasure to drive with the DSG =)

Do you have more info on the reinforced clutch packs? What RPM are you shifting with the DSG? Normally you can make over 250hp between 3500 and 5500 rpm so when you shift at 5500 you will arrivee at an rpm higher than 3500 and be still on the plateau of max power.

at the moment I have to keep me down because of the map with little evidence of diesel, I have to finish to complete some work and then rises again the pressure

Well i went back out tonight with the drag radials and actually could only get a 13.88 @102mph

The slicks hooked up so hard that the car bogged down in first. Ive got to work on keeping boost up in 1st.

Further update

Latest Drag attempt to see difference from last time.

First three runs with my son in the car as passenger (57kg ) and in quick succession, last run solo, but with too much wheel spin. Running full road trim IBIZA PD130 with road tyres and pressures (approx 30psi) full tank of fuel and tarmac not particularly grippy. did not really have time to play with pressure or wait around for printed timing slip.
I have launch control to help build boost for start, and lack of power was not an issue in first or second, just driver control.
Running 120% injectors, ported head, Darkside older prototype cam (modified injector lobe), 2260vk with some foreign object damage but delivering 2.4 bar max and extended rpm to 5.5k, Darkside FMIC, water injection(No meths, pure water).
Pleased with speed, but not times, but beat other car each time.
Surprised how little payback for all the mods since running on relatively std pd130 with 2260 turbo, cam, exhaust and lsd which achieved 14.3 ish seconds at 104 mph.

Slicks will put you right for next season, that's what I will be doing

Here is my best time 13.42s and speed 171,72 km/h from this year

This thread needs updating, AM motorsport ibiza now running a 9s 1/4mile

Went back tonight. Best run was 13.887 @101.84
Gonna try launching at 4k instead of 3500

I had a 12.7s with my Audi coupe quattro 2.5 tdi

And a friend drove 13.5s with vw Golf mk4 1.9pd gtb2260vk and Semi slicks

1.9pd, gtb22 hybrid, race camshaft, firad +160, s3 intercooler , 76mm exaust

I took both of my cars to the track last night.My MK3 Golf still has fueling issues that we need to sort out.I managed a 1.77 60 ft time but is falls on its face before the 60ft time is even complete.It looks like our reworked injection pump is the problem.

My MK4 Jetta with street tires didn't hook up so 23x7.5" slicks went on and it worked well.Didn't need 5th gear with 14.5 at 94 mph. The car and driver weight was 3120lbs.

New fwd diesel European record 9.634 @ 137.78 mph - Jose in the AM motorsport polo 02/8/15

18.009 stock Octavia Alh running on WVO

16.832 in same car with a homebrew remap, again on WVO

Took my totally stock 06 BRM with DSG and 452,000kms. ET 19.266@68.48 MPH. 2.746 60' and 12.213@55.94 in the 1/8th, with two people on board. It can only get better.

going well, what turbine is in the gtb you have there? what boost? 50mm comp inducer?

Makes me wonder why I bothered converting mine to ASZ

Or are those tyres more like drag tyres than semi slicks? Either way, damn quick!

It is this tire. They have quite soft sidewall, so good for drag racing.
