side view mirror turn signal

anything special I need to know in order to change the bulb ? Don't want to try and start pulling at things that shouldn't be pulled. thks

Yes - invest about an hour into it. No Kidding. Start by removing the glass, then unscrew parts to remove the motor, housing finally the cap. Only then can you get to the second screw that holds the turn signal. This screw is close to the door and you have to disassemble nearly the entire mirror to get at it. And if your car is anything like mine, be ready to fix a broken mirror swivel, too. lots of corrosion there, so be careful.

Have the same problem and found this PDF with picture instructions on another website. Haven't tried it yet but it looks promising!

There is NO bulb in the side view mirror turn signal... It is LED based. If you need a spare set I have both left and right for sale.
