Hi all. I own 2.5 tdi afb engine that was tiptronic 5 speed hp19 quattro and I put gearbox fwd 6 speed mt from same car model engine but manual. The problem was timing jumping all over the place after conversion. When i disconnect ckp sensor all readings get better so my guess is the location off sensor on tiptronic that is way far down but i trought the dual mass flywheel would conpensate for that but i guess i was wrong. Do you know if crankshaft automatic to manual are difrent? Any idea to solve ckp sensor? Maybe simulator? Tks in advance.
