Hey gang,
Alright, now that the baby is here, and we have settled down a bit, it's time to try to reschedule my GTG that fell through from this spring.
I am looking at the calendar and Sept 14/15 are the best for me with Sept 21/22 as an alternative...how's that?
As stated in the spring, the following applies:

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It should be a ton of fun...and relaxing. Maybe we'll have weather like we are this week (mid 80's, the norm for Sept.)Alright, I have finally put all my obligations on the calendar and figured out when I have some free time to try and host a GTG. Now all I need is the input from your folks.
It will be in Lusby, which is about an hour southeast of DC. I know, that seems like a long way but it’s a beautiful area and you are very close to gorgeous Solomons Island. Check out Beautiful Solomons Island and another page of Beautiful Solomons Island .
My boss has been gracious enough to allow us to host the GTG in my work parking lot. My office is right on the water with a good-sized parking lot area, a great field for fun/picnics/the family and more, and the peace and quiet of a rural neighborhood. I'll get some pics on Friday when I go back to that office and post...as long as you don't drool on your computers.
I thought we could talk cars, maybe do some car work (depending on the weather), have some food and generally enjoy the company. I could bring the grill down from the house to cook up some dogs/burgers. In fact, we can make this fun and try to make it a potluck type of thing.
There are a few restrictions that my boss did set.
1. We have a bathroom in the building but that is the only reason anybody should be inside.
2. Noise should be kept to a minimum so that we do not disturb the neighbors too much (i.e. no tire smoking burn-outs or high speed runs back up the road)
3. If we do car work, we have to be environmentally conscious, recover any oil changed (we can recycle it nearby), cleanup any residues, and don’t let fluids run down the storm drain. Hey, I work for an environmental firm, did you expect anything else?
4. Of course, we have to clean up after ourselves.
