My left rear started to click unpleasantly immediately after I replaced the rear springs with tiggies at about that mileage. There was an unpleasant noise when I dropped the car back onto the ground on that side which I though at the time was swaybar rotating through bushings but I now tend to think 'something happened' to the link either when the suspension was fully extended or the link was removed. It is necessary to remove the links to re and re the rear springs. The other three links have now survived nearly twice as long as the one that failed and was replaced and all have been removed and reinstalled at least once.
Don't know that helps but they are also a relatively inexpensive part which suggests they get replaced more often.
