Oil pressure gauge not working. I've tested the gauge for proper resistance (25 ohms). It will work if I ground the wire to the block.

I've used both idiot light senders and gauge senders and still no working gauge.

Btw I have oil going to the turbo

Any ideas?

I'd like keep stock looking

mechanical gauge test to make sure your developing actual pressure ... you can test your current setup by putting regulated air pressure to the removed sending unit and observing the key on gauge performance

I killed my original oil pressure gauge sender pretty quick when it was mounted directly to the housing. According to an Autometer document I found they don't like high vibrations.

Remote mounted now with a braided line.

Could it also be thread tape on the sender body preventing you from getting a good ground?
