2006 Touareg V10 Diesel

Not exactly sure what I have done however OBD II at VW says I have lunched my mass air flow sensor, AND both my turbos are gone also.
Want 10 k to fix.
I am thinking that if mass air flow sensor feeds the turbos, then my waste gates are electronically held open and turbos are not actually dead. Just inactivated. So all I should need is a new mass air flow sensor.

Anyone have any experience on this? I can fix the mass air flow sensor but do not own the engine cradle to get at turbos.

Do you have actual codes that it is throwing or just trusting what the dealer is telling you? First I have heard of a MAF going bad in one, but not the first for turbo's. Generally both don't go at the same time though.

Vw just likes the labor to put tubs on.Here in GA it us 7k for both turbos the exhaust pressure sensor reseal the lift pumps and put it all back.
