Finally, after so many cleanings my MAF died (CEL on, limp mode). Went to dealer (Clarkdale in Vancouver, BC) and they agreed to replace MAF under "partial warranty". According to them VW will pay 50% for cars between 60 and 70 000 Km. So i paid $300
(Canadian), one year warranty included. My Golf newer run like this before!!! New found power. But, (there is always "but") CEL come again after one hour of driving. Trouble code is 19586/references sporadic DTC. Dealer have no idea, they have to cal VW about that. They showed me their computer database and #19586 is not listed. Called another dealer and they told me same story - NO IDEA. Car runs fine. Anyone heard about this, what should I do?
