Bay Area - A4 Alternator Pulley Tool?

Looks like it might be time to change the alternator pulley on my Jetta. I don't have any real desire to buy a tool I'm probably only going to use once, but I have even less of a desire to pay a dealer 10x that to do a crappy job.

Anybody in the Bay Area have the metalnerd tool to loan or rent?

Thanks

In case anybody is in my situation in the future and doesn't want to be sans alternator while waiting for shipping on the tools, ASC (Alternator & Starter Co) in San Leandro was able to swap pulleys for me in about 5 minutes for $5.

Ok - I'm done having my conversation with myself now.
